THE CHAIRMAN MR. SONAM TOPGYAL OF WELFARE SOCIETY TIBETAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS ON EUROPE TOUR

On 15th January 2010 The Chairman met with Mr. Josep M. Cevera, International Director of Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.  During the meeting Chairman briefed about the Welfare Society Tibetan Chamber of Commerce as a young Chamber of commerce in comparison to theirs and requested for the support and guidance. Chairman also highlighted about the different fields of our entrepreneurship available within the existing members and the main objective of developing a community as a whole as advised by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Mr. Josep M. Cevera in return welcomed to us and said that our association has begun and we shall do whatever is needful.  Barcelona Chamber of Commerce got the best Chamber of Commerce award on internationalization of Relation in the year 2009. He asked us to brief up with the up coming Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) in written to his email directly and also spoke of promoting the Tibetan products, Tourism, Restaurant business.

In the Evening,Chairman had Dinner meeting with the Antonio Gonzalez, Director General of a one of the biggest construction company called CONTRATASY OBRAS along with his International business Director Chris McKinley in Barcelona. Mr. Gonzalez is also an active member of Barcelona Chamber of Commerce. During the Dinner Mr. Gonzalez explored the possibility of doing construction business in India. Chairman invited him to attend to the Annual General Body meeting so that he can meet some Tibetans who is into Real Estate and Construction business. He accepted trying his best to come to attend if his schedule permits.

On 20th January 2010 TCC Chairman arrived in the Paris (France) and met Tashila (Director) of Tashi Delek Enterprise. Mr Tashila assured of maximum cooporation and said that he would take the final decision on further discussion with other director. 

On 2ist  January 2010 TCC Chairman met Mr. Tashi Wangdi Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama of France and Benelux. Mr. Tashi Wangdi la also felt that the Tibetan Chamber of Commerce is a very important platform and assured of maximum support within his capacity. One of Idea he have given is to get in touch with the Leigh university  in USA and grab the opportunity to participate in the summer entrepreneurship training where entrepreneurs come from different parts of the world.  He also called miss Yungdung Tso a business women in Belgium and fixed appointment for the next day.

On 22nd January Miss Yungdung Tso met the chairman and joined as a member of Tibetan chamber of commerce and gave a very important suggestion. She does business with the Chinese entrepreneurs from Hong Kong and other parts of main land. She expressed the importance to work with them together. Chairman said to her that TCC definitely would like to develop genuine harmonious business relation with the Chinese entrepreneurship. Chairman welcomed any suggestions from her to develop such relationship. Youngdung Tso agreed to work hard for TCC and develop good relation in Belgium entrepreneurs at first. With miss Youngdung tso as our representation in Belgium we are hopeful of some positive growth gradually.

On 23rd January 2003 Chairman met Dr. Lopsang in Ede Wagnigen in Holland and explained him the detail of Tibetan Chmaber of commerce. Dr. Lopsang at the moment is a highly respect Tibetan doctors in Holland by its citizens. Dr. Lopsang was very supportive but at the moment is not very sure how he as profession can join the Tibetan Chamber of commerce but assured of any support as long as it benefits Tibetan community and its cause.

On 24th January 2010 Chairman left to meet Tsering Jampala an Executive Director of ICT Europe. Tsering Jampala assured the chairman of full support to have a delegation in the year 2010 and also explore a possibility of penetration in Holland Chamber of Commerce. She immediately declared a support of finance for developing a very good written material for chamber to make a effective presentation.
We also discussed a possibility to have an award function for the Tibetan achievers in different fields financed by ICT and organized by TCC.
Tsering Jampala further fixed meeting with Tseyangla a entrepreneur in Amsterderm (Holland). Chairman Met Tseyangla on 25th January 2010 and she agreed to join the membership of Tibetan Chamber of Commerce and assured to  give her best to develop TCC in Holland.

On 26th January 2010 Chairman Left for Vienna (Austria) by Bus 18 hours journey minus 10 degree.

On 27th Chairman arrived in Wien and met Tseten Zoechbauer and entrepreneur in Wien as hotelier and event management. She said that she would join Tibetan Chamber of Commerce member soon. She arranged a meeting with two very important personalities of Wien Chamber of Commerce.

On 28th January 2010 early morning chairman had a meeting with the one of the senior member of Austrain Chamber of Commerce who agreed to help us to get training and also make some delegates visit Dharamsala and have regular interaction with Austrian Chamber of commerce. He said that in Austria we don’t mix the politics with the business and strongly protect the interest of their members.

On 29th January 2010 Chairman  met the second  members of Austrian chamber of commerce who advised us to work through a branches such as hotel and restaurant association of Austrian chamber of commerce and get the penetration to different fields. This branch can provide many free training and provide Diploma after training. So we have a representative in Austria.

On 30th January 2010 Chairman left for Switzerland. In Switzerland met Dechen Amchi who is an entrepreneur. A women of multi talent and full of energy. Dechen Amchi immediately joined the membership and showed interest of developing a bond between the Tibetan entrepreneurs across the globe. She suggested of taking out 2 megazine a year where all the Tibetan eneterpreneurs and Tibetan professionals are interviewed from different parts of the globe. She also encouraged of differen representative in different countries promoting the product of Tibetan entrepreneurs and get a percentage to the promoters. We now have a representative in Switzerland.

On 3rd the Chairman arrived back to Delhi and joined office on 4th February 2010
