Tibetan Chamber of Commerce: Annual General Meeting

Time: 10AM Date: 6th to 7th March, 2010
Venue: Gangkyi, Dharamsala

6th March 2010:

10:00 AM: Registration & Meeting in the Hall.
10:00 to 10:15AM: Welcome Speech and Introduction of the Foreign Delegation
10:15 to 10: 30AM: Address by Chairman on the past performance and future plan.
10:30 to 10: 45AM: Address by the Chief Guest "Kalon Tripa".
10:45 to 11:15AM: Presentation of Annual Report
11:15 to 12:00AM: Talk by foreign delegates
12:00 to 12:30AM: Vote of thanks by the General Secretary.
12:30 to 1:00PM: Lunch Break.
1:00 to 2:30PM: Board Members will be questioned by the members on the past performance
2:30 to 3:30PM: Discussion with the Tibetan Finance Minister, Secretary and his team to strengthen the existing relationship and seek their highly valuable inputs.
3:30 to 4:30PM: Meeting with the Chairman and members of the parliaments.
6:30 PM: Evening Dinner to the members and invited guest in Hotel Tibet. (Tentative Venue)

7th March 2010:

10:00AM: Meeting in the Hall.
10:00 to 10:30AM: Chair the Meeting.
10:30 to 11:30AM: Suggestions of the members to be taken in for the action course of 2010.
11:30 to 12:00AM: Conclusion of the Meeting by drafting the final decision after the members unanimously passes it.
12:00 to 12:30 Vote of thanks
12:30 to 1:00 LUNCH.
6:30PM: Meeting with the foreign delegates till 7:30 and follow by Evening Dinner by the Tibetan Chamber of commerce. (Trying to organize at TIPA)

TCC AWARNESS PROGRAME IN NORTH EAST.

GANGTOK(7th Feb)For the first time Mrs. Choezom Tsering, Executive Director of Tibetan Chamber of Commerce with her assistant Miss Dolma visited the North East Regions of India (Gangtok, Darjeeling and Kalimpong).Since independent Tibet, these north east regions have hosted many Tibetan Businessmen and have formed a small yet powerful business community even today.

THE CHAIRMAN MR. SONAM TOPGYAL OF WELFARE SOCIETY TIBETAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS ON EUROPE TOUR

On 15th January 2010 The Chairman met with Mr. Josep M. Cevera, International Director of Barcelona Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting Chairman briefed about the Welfare Society Tibetan Chamber of Commerce as a young Chamber of commerce in comparison to theirs and requested for the support and guidance.

TIBET FAIR-2008

With few changes considering the ongoing crisis in Tibet and current situation, Tibetan Chamber of Commerce (TCC) organized a two days fair “Tibet Fair” at the Delhi Chinmaya Sewa Trust from 19-20th April, 2008 which was planned almost half a year back and initially had events such as Tibetan Cultural Show, Tibetan Fashion/Costume Exhibition show, performance by various Tibetan singers and stalls by various Tibetan organizations, associations, companies and individuals showcasing the various Tibetan products and services.
